Esther Kaplin is a therapist with many years of experience in the treatment of addictions and related issues. She worked in the inpatient and outpatient addiction division at the Belmont Center for Behavioral Health, a psychiatric hospital; the Kintock Group, an operator of community corrections facilities; and in the business development department of Caron Treatment Centers. Because of her clinical background, her role at Caron was multi-dimensional. Her primary responsibility was to introduce Caron to professionals and those in need of Caron’s services. She also counseled potential patients through the intake process, participated in crisis and case management, and developed an extensive network of outpatient professionals for those in need of specialized treatment. Esther, in her private practice, works with individuals, couples and families to understand and resolve therapeutic issues with practical solutions.
"I’ve enjoyed the privilege of helping individuals, couples and families overcome challenges, and find the path to happier and more productive lives. My experience, gained through the noted positions, has shaped my approach to therapy, and strengthened my commitment to treating each client with respect, empathy and sensitivity".
