Addictions
  • Addictions come in many forms from drugs and alcohol, to shopping, gambling, hording, pornography and more. If your habits have begun to affect your finances, work, family, other relationships or well being, it’s time to seek help. I can guide you in changing behaviors and developing strategies for remaining addiction free.

Co-Dependency
  • Co-Dependency is an often misunderstood condition that affects many in the extended recovery community. Co-dependency is defined as a psychological condition or a relationship in which a person is controlled or manipulated by another who is affected with a pathological condition (as in an addiction to alcohol or drugs. If you are suffering from co-dependency you most likely place lower priority on one's own needs, while being excessively preoccupied with the needs of others. Codependency can occur in any type of relationship, including family, work, friendship, and also romantic, peer or community relationships. Codependency may also be characterized by
                    Denial
                    Low self-esteem
                    Excessive compliance
                    Patterns of control

        Left unaddressed those who suffer from co-dependent behaviors are never able to truly move ahead in their lives. I can identify and provide therapy for         family members and others with co-dependency issues to help ensure you learn to live the life you deserve.

Depression
  • Feelings of sadness, fatigue, difficulty with concentration, lack of interest, and physical pain or discomfort can all be symptoms of depression. There are many therapeutic and clinical solutions that can help.  I can guide you in learning to manage your depression and in restoring and maintaining stability in your life.

Anxiety
  • If you worry excessively about even the smallest things, find yourself unable to let go of past concerns, or have trouble simply feeling comfortable in your world; you may be suffering from anxiety. You could also be experiencing physical symptoms like a racing heartbeat or difficulty breathing. I can show you how to minimize stress, and develop a positive strategy for dealing with your issues.

Life Management Skills
  • Dealing with the many complex issues of life can be overwhelming. Sometimes, someone else’s issues become your own, affecting your life in negative ways. So many of us waste valuable time and energy obsessing about things beyond our control. In these cases, there is often a disconnect between emotional reaction and intellectual understanding. It is important to realize that you can’t control anything in life only manage your relationship to it. I can help you devise coping skills and problem-solving strategies needed to cope with whatever life throws at you.
